This is just my guess…


Weather forecasting is not an exact science. It certainly looked bad last Night but anything can happen. Imagine if they had canceled and then the storm didn’t arrive.

And… I am fairly certain that Virginia Tech wanted to play if at all possible.

Finally, we were probably already on the hook for last night‘s rooms. I believe we travel with 20 players so that would’ve probably been about 15 rooms that we would’ve had to pay for whether or not we stayed.

Just my guess.
